A COUNTRY road in west Dorset has been closed due to a landslip.
Dorset Council has said it has had to close Pound Lane in Burstock, near Broadwindsor.
It follows a period of heavy rain in the county.
Pound Lane runs from the junction of Park Water Lane and Grange Lane up to the small village of Burstock where it meets Rookery Lane,
Issuing a highways alert, Dorset Council said: "The road will remain closed until at least Monday, when specialist officers can attend and assess the situation.
"If you are traveling in this area, please use alternative routes and plan ahead accordingly."
