PART of a residential road in a west Dorset will be shut for utility works.
Hill Road in Lyme Regis will be closed between Coppers Knapp and Mill Green from October 21 while the work is being carried out.
The closure area will be a distance of approximately 60 metres.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by October 26.
This order will enable Duncan Goldsmith, property developers, safe access to carry out utility connections.

It is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
An alternative route will be signed using; Coombe Street - Monmouth Street - A3052 - B3165.
