Firefighters rushed to a home where food had been accidentally left unattended whilst cooking.
One fire crew from Bridport Fire Station was called to a home on South Street where alarms were sounding at 5.36pm on Tuesday, October 15.
The alarms were set off by burnt cooking accidentally left unattended.
Bridport Fire Station has issued an urgent reminder to have smoke alarms fitted in the property.
A spokesperson said: "Thankfully the resident had working smoke alarms and was made aware of the cooking that had been left unattended.
"Do you have smoke alarms installed in your property? Do you test them regularly?
"We recommend at least one smoke alarm on every level of your property as a minimum. And, that you test them once a week."
