Emergency crews were called to a fire at an abandoned caravan in rural west Dorset.
Crews from Beaminster Fire Station and Charminster Fire Station extinguished the fire, which was reported around 8.56pm on Monday, October 7 near Birdsmoorgate, close to Marshwood.
According to a spokesperson from DWFire the caravan was ‘well alight’ when crews arrived, using one hosereel jet and two breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
The crew left the scene around 9.45pm, after the fire was extinguished.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said that a cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident at 8.54pm yesterday (October 7) to Birdsmoorgate, Marshwood to reports of a caravan on fire.
"Crews from Beaminster and Charmouth attended where two breathing apparatus wearers used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Our stop was at 9.45pm."
