A car park and walk leading to a popular Dorset beauty spot has closed for eight weeks.
Langdon Hill car park and woodland walk leads to the Golden Cap - the highest cliff on the south coast of England.
Both the car park and woodland walk closed on Monday September 30 for eight weeks while work is carried out to protect the woodland area.
The area is owned by the National Trust and it recently underwent improvement work including topping the existing woodland track with new stone, re-profiling the tracks to improve drainage and widening them to their original width.
Local residents have recently expressed concern how the woodland area of Langdon Hill was left, with many claiming it is 'unstable' and 'dangerous.'

Now it will undergo further work including the removal of some trees, replanting different types of tree species and reinstatement work along sections of the track to improve the surface of the footpath.
This is to ensure the woodlands are more resilient to the effects of climate change and to make access easier for visitors.
The Golden Cap can still be accessed via Stonebarrow Hill.
