Police have warned drivers not to keep valuables in cars after a vehicle was broken into in Loders.
During the early hours of Thursday, September 26, thieves broke into a vehicle in the Loders area.
A spokesperson for Bridport Police said: "Fortunately nothing of value was stolen, but nothing of value was kept in the vehicle.
"We advise not to leave any items of value inside unattended vehicles, even if hidden away.
"Thieves may watch people hiding items in certain places, or assume something is hidden if there are other items stacked.
"You can consider buying dashcams for your vehicle, or if parked in driveways, CCTV covering the surrounding area, alerting you to people approaching.
"If anyone is concerned about their security, or would like any advice, please contact us online at https://orlo.uk/3TaaX, or calling 101.
"Please contact us, as above, if you witness any suspicious activity, or call 999 immediately if you believe a crime is in progress."
