A crash has caused queues of traffic both ways along a main route through Dorset.
The incident, involving two vehicles, was reported around 3pm today (Tuesday, October 1) on the A35 at East Road around Asker Mead near the Esso Roundabout.
There were reports of heavy traffic as a result of the crash, as motorists were advised to find an alternative route, where possible.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 3.02pm of a two-vehicle collision near to the East Road Service Station in Bridport.
"Officers attended and there were no reports of any serious injuries.
"The road was cleared and police left the scene at around 3.15pm."
The spokesperson added that there were no reports of serious injuries, with the ambulance service was not required to attend.
