The countdown is on for a blooming popular village show.
The Uplyme and Lyme Regis Horticultural Society is to hold its autumn show and coffee morning on Saturday, October 12 from 10am to 12pm at Uplyme Village Hall.
There are 19 show classes covering flowers, floral art, fruit, vegetables, cookery and photography.
All classes are free to enter and judged by a public vote, with no pre-registration required.
There will also be a plant sale and raffle for people to get involved with.
Exhibits should be taken to Uplyme Village Hall at 9.30am on the day.
There will also be a plant stall, and the society are seeking plant donations which should also be brought to the hall from 9.30am.
Cups won at the society’s Summer Flower and Produce Show will be presented to winners and there will also be a £1,000 donation from the proceeds of the Summer Show presented to a Lyme Regis Carnival Week representative.
This donation will help the carnival to award grants to local organisations and good causes.
