WHERE are all the wasps, and to some extent, flies, gone?
I’ve only seen three wasps in the house (which I dispatched humanely with a large magazine).
Flies are just an annoyance. Is this observation just local to lower Bradpole or is this a more widespread, even country-wide?
Could this be the start of a new long-term trend, or is it one of nature’s blips, to be followed by a more seasonal wasp blitz next year?
I understand nature has its ups and down, but it would be quite nice to have a reduction in the little blighters, having been stung a few times over the years!
Perhaps the more knowledgeable amongst your readers, could have a more detailed explanation. In the meantime, I’ll top up the wasp spray.
