A FOOTPATH will be closed while works are carried out to a nearby water recycling centre.
Public Footpath 54 at Halstock will be shut for approximately 75 metres while Wessex Water does the work.
A temporary closure order has been made by Dorset Council to begin on October 7.
All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Public Footpath 54, from grid reference ST 5422 0817 to grid reference ST 5428 0816.
The alternative route will be; From ST 5422 0817 head West for approximately 80m to ST 5413 0818. Head South Southwest along Yeovil Road for approximately 225m to ST 5403 0799. Head Northeast along Watery Lane for approximately 315m to ST 5428 0816.
