A car got stuck in a river after rolling off a car park in Charmouth.
On the morning of Friday September 20, Russ Morter was walking his dog along Charmouth Beach when he was surprised to see a vehicle partially submerged in the River Char.
Photos show the car's front bonnet in the river at the car park in Lower Sea Lane.
Mr Morter said: "We did not see how it happened but when we left the beach we did see a tow truck drive onto the car park presumably to pull the car out."
Dorset Police received a report that a car had entered the water at 10.43am on Friday, September 20 but the incident was subsequently passed to HM Coastguard.
No rescue teams were sent to the scene as the coastguard confirmed that there were no people in or near the car.
