A woman has been arrested in connection to the theft of a minibus in Weymouth which was driven all the way to Bradpole.
The minibus was stolen from Melcombe Regis, Weymouth and was reported to Dorset Police at 11.15am this morning.
The vehicle came to a stop in Fox Close, Bradpole at around 12pm, and police arrested a 33-year-old woman from Weymouth on suspicion of theft.
Dorset Police say there are no reports of any injuries.
A resident of Fox Close said: "All I saw was it screeching round the corner with someone holding on behind what looked like a smashed window, with the police car hot on their heels."
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 11.15am on Sunday, 22 September of the theft of a minibus from an address in the Melcombe Regis area of Weymouth.
"Officers attended and searched for the vehicle, which came to a stop in Bradpole near Bridport at around 12pm.
"There were no reports of any injuries.
"A 33-year-old woman from Weymouth has been arrested on suspicion of theft.
"Enquiries are continuing into the incident."
