A life-saving service is looking for a new volunteer following the retirement of a dedicated treasurer.
Brian Cursley is stepping down as the treasure for the RNLI after serving the lifeboat volunteers in several roles for 20 years.
He said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my role and regard it as an honour to have played my part in fundraising to save lives at sea."
Now the charity is seeking a new volunteer treasurer to organise fundraising for the Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat station.
The volunteer treasurer is seen as a crucial member of the friendly and enthusiastic team which organises them.
Brian would be happy to have an informal chat with anyone interested in taking on his role. He can be contacted at lifeboat1824@gmail.com.
Potential treasurers should also contact RNLI Community Manager Jason Luff at jason_luff@rnli.org.uk.
