PARKING restrictions will be imposed on a road in a west Dorset village whilst a property has scaffolding up and is undergoing repairs.
There will be a parking suspension on the C68 in Loders to allow for a safe working area.
A temporary traffic management order is already in place, preventing drivers from parking on the C68 New Street Lane road between number 19 and number 24a, a distance of approximately 55 metres.
A clearway has also been imposed as indicated by signs on site.
The temporary traffic management order will enable RBS Scaffolding to provide safe working area for scaffolding to facilitate property repairs.
The order, which has already come into operation, is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by October 29.
For more information about the work being undertaken and access arrangements, call RBS Scaffolding on 01297 22911.
For further information concerning this order, call Dorset Highways Traffic Team on 01305 221020.
