A town centre road in Bridport will be partially closed and one-way for a week of roadworks.

A section of West Street in Bridport will be made one way, from the roundabout with Tannery Road and the zebra crossing just outside of Waitrose - a distance of approximately 120 metres.

The closure will only affect traffic going eastbound (into town), as traffic will still be able to go west, meaning the road will be temporarily one-way for this section.

The closure will begin on Monday, September 23 and is expected to end on Friday, September 27.
