DRIVERS will be unable to park on a main Bridport road while work is carried out.
A parking suspension is in place for the A3066, the main road between Bridport and Beaminster, from September 9 to October 23.
People will be unable to park their vehicles on the A3066 between its junction with St Katherine's Drive and its junction with Shoe Lane, a distance of approximately 400 metres.
There will also be a clearway in place to prevent waiting, as indicated by signs on site.
This will enable National Grid Company safe access to carry out a network reinforcement scheme.
The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users
