PART of the A35 near Bridport is to be closed next week for overnight works.
The main road will be shut both ways between East Road roundabout and the junction with Lee Lane overnight on Thursday, September 12.
It will be shut from 8pm to 6am on Friday, September 13 to allow cable works and associated maintenance to be safely carried out.
During the closure traffic will be diverted via junctions of the A35 and local roads.

The National Highways closure does not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles and the diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
