An air ambulance was called after a man stopped breathing in Bridport.
Ambulance crews were called to a medical incident near West Allington in Bridport at 2.30pm on Friday, August 30.
The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was seen flying overhead before leaving the scene at 3.30pm.
The man was taken to Dorset County Hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson for DSAA said: "I can confirm that Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance attended an incident reported as an elderly male who had stopped breathing, in the Bridport area on Friday, August 30.
"Our critical care team assisted at the scene of the incident and ground-escorted the patient by road ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.
"The team we provided consisted of a doctor and specialist practitioner in critical care, both of whom specialise in pre-hospital emergency medicine. The aircraft was crewed as usual, by a pilot and co-pilot."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 2.35pm on Friday, August 30 to an incident in Bridport.
"We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, an air ambulance and a first responder to the scene.
"We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital."
