The long wait for results was finally over as students across west Dorset gathered to collect their GCSE results.
Pupils at Dorset schools including Sir John Colfox Academy in Bridport, Beaminster School and Woodroffe School in Lyme, collected their GCSE results.
GCSEs are graded numerically from nine to one, with many students across the area achieving grades between 7 and 9. This is equivalent to the old A-A* grades in almost every subject.
