Thousands of people will be heading to the West Bay Showground for the Melplash show, so here is all you need to know on how to get there.

Car

A free public car park is available to all those travelling in by car and is located along the A35 at Bridport, near to Groves Garden Centre. 

Follow the signs for the public car park.  Accessible parking is located at the front of the public carpark, and make sure to display your blue badge.

Bus

A free bus service will cover Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Bridport areas. 

Due to the popularity of this service, the show has introduced a second bus on the Lyme Regis route.  

In addition, there is a bus operating from Bridport town centre to the showground.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the buses.

Two Park & Ride services will also be located around Bridport. 

All are completely free to use and dogs are welcome to travel on the buses. 

The bus will drop visitors along the West Bay Road and a short level walk will lead to the showground entrance.

Train

For those travelling by train, the nearest stations are Crewkerne and Dorchester South.
