A MAIN road in Beaminster was blocked by a fallen tree.
A tree has fallen across both lanes of Whitcombe Road in Beaminster, blocking it for traffic in both directions.
Motorists were advised to find alternative routes.
Dorset Police have been contacted.
At 6.15pm it was reported that the tree had been cleared and the road was reopened.
