AN extension has been agreed for Shipton Gorge village hall.

The planning application, approved by Dorset Council, will see a small area added to the front of the building.

Of just 13 square metres it will accommodate a new entrance lobby and disabled toilet. (see illustration) Other West Dorset plans decided include the conversion of a Bridport office into a flat and a new, larger, telecoms’ mast at Walditch.
