A town’s litter pick will take place this weekend.
The Lyme Regis litter pick will take place between 10am to 12pm on Sunday, August 18.
Organised by Turn Lyme Green with the Lyme Regis Town Council, the group are set to meet at the RNLI shop on the Cobb to start.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own bucket, where possible, to collect the litter. Pickers, bags and gloves will be provided on the day.
A free hot drink or ice cream is offered by Baboo Gelato following the event.
The work is supported by Litter Free Dorset. A spokesperson said: “We’re a friendly group and whether for just an occasional litter pick or on a more regular basis you’ll be most welcome."
