West Dorset's most popular agricultural show is just one week away.
The Melplash Agricultural Society Show is one of the south west’s top agricultural exhibitions.
The show will be held at the West Bay Show Grounds on Thursday, August 22.
This year the show's main attraction is the Broke Freestyle Motocross Display Team with their breath taking stunts, including flying 35ft in the air whilst doing all sorts of aerobic manoeuvres.
The team will perform twice during the day in the main arena at 11.30am and 3.30pm.
The show will also be packed full of exhibits including livestock, horses, homecrafts and horticulture.
More than 400 trade stands will be at this year's event selling everything from locally produced food to tractors.
Lucy Hart, show secretary, said: "Our show is a great day to meet with friends, enjoy the countryside and learn more about west Dorset.
"It also offers a fantastic platform to conduct business so there really is something for everyone."
The show will also be welcoming Team Pawsability to the main arena this year as they put their dogs through their paces in a circular knockout agility competition.

- St Swithun’s Band from 10.00am to 12.30pm.
- The Melplash Inn public bar
- Moores Biscuits Cookery Theatre hosting a number of cookery demonstrations throughout the day
- Traditional Punch & Judy show throughout the day by Peter Maggs,
- Fun Fair provided by Edward Danter
- Horse showing and show jumping
- Livestock classes for cattle, sheep, goats and pigs
The Discover Farming Marquee will also be a must visit for families who are interested in learning more about food production and farming.
Ahead of this year's show, the winners of the society's 2024 gardens and allotment compactions have also been announced.
The cups will be awarded at this year's show.

Adult tickets for the show cost £22 by card payment on the day, alternatively tickets can be bought in advance for £20 up to midnight on Wednesday, August 21.
Children aged 16 and under are free to enter.
