POLICE closed a road in Beaminster after a car collided with a post, leaving the driver in hospital with minor injuries.
Higher Green was closed near North Road due to a single-vehicle collision.
Dorset Police received a report of a single-vehicle collision in Higher Green in Beaminster at 8.44am today.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "It was reported that a car collided with a post.
"Officers were in attendance with the ambulance service.
"The road was temporarily blocked; it was cleared at around 11.50am.
"The driver was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries."
