A crash has been causing major disruption.
Traffic was impacted both ways following the two-vehicle crash at Red Lane near Axminster.
Heavy traffic was reported in the area.
No injuries have been reported..
The road was clear at around 10.40am.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Green Lane near Axminster which was reported at around 9.50am. It was transferred to Devon and Cornwall Police.”
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars on Red Lane, near Axminster at around 9.25am today, Friday 19 July.
"No injuries have been reported and the road was clear by around 10.40am."
