It's heating up once again this weekend - but the sun is likely to be hidden by overcast skies.

Temperatures in West Dorset will reach highs of 20 degrees this weekend, but this will be met with cloudy spots. 

Many festivalgoers will be hoping for sunny weather as Jurassic Fields music festival officially kicked off today.

Bridport:

Friday: Overcast. Highs of 19 degrees. 

Saturday: Sunny intervals changing to partly cloudy by night-time. Highs of 19 degrees.

Sunday: Sunny intervals. Highs of 19 degrees.

West Bay:

Friday: Overcast. Highs of 19 degrees. 

Saturday: Sunny intervals changing to cloudy by lunchtime. Highs of 19 degrees.

Sunday: Sunny intervals. Highs of 19 degrees.

Lyme Regis:  

Friday: Overcast. Highs of 18 degrees.

Saturday: Sunny intervals changing to cloudy by lunchtime. Highs of 19 degrees.

Today:

Cloudy to start with some patchy rain. Sunnier spells into the afternoon. Feeling cooler. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Tonight:

A few heavy showers continuing this evening before easing. Cloudy at times overnight with patchy rain, though most places staying dry. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Saturday:

A mixture of sunny spells and slow-moving showers, these heavy at times. Light winds and still feeling rather cool for the time of year, but pleasant in any sunny breaks. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Drier and warmer on Sunday with the odd shower, easing by the evening. Heavy showery rain arriving on Monday. Sunny spells and a few showers on Tuesday.
