A MAN has died at a beach in West Dorset.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.20pm on Saturday, June 22, of an unresponsive man in the area of Cogden Beach near Burton Bradstock.
Officers attended and very sadly the man, aged in his 70s and from Frome in Somerset, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious.
"The man’s family has been informed and the coroner has been notified.
"Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this very difficult time."
