A COMPULSORY purchase order has been confirmed for a Bridport home.
Dorset Council has confirmed the purchase of 12 Princess Road, Bridport, in exercise of its powers under the The Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the Acquisition of Land Act 1981.
The order as confirmed provides for the purchase for the purposes of facilitating the improvement of the land.

No objections to the order were received within the permitted period.
Notification was given by the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities that the power to confirm the order may be exercised by the acquiring authority in accordance with section 14A of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981.

A copy of the order as confirmed by the council and of the map referred to therein have been deposited at the offices of the council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ and may be seen at all reasonable hours by appointment only.
