The Beaminster branch of the Royal British Legion is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a special church service and barbeque.
The celebrations will be held on Sunday, July 7, with the special service taking place in St Mary's Church at 9.30am.
During the service both the branch's and county standards will be on parade.
Following the church service, a barbeque will be held from 3pm until 6.30pm at the Memorial Playing Field pavilion with a marquee erected in case of bad weather.
There will also be live music from three bands, a bar serving refreshments, a raffle and a cake stall.
Tickets for the event can be bought at either at the Yarn Barton Centre or The Greyhound Inn, in Beaminster.
The cost is £5 per adult and £2.50 for children under 12 years of age and include a burger or and sausage in a roll.
Everyone is welcome to attend, but tickets for the barbeque are limited so those wishing to attend are reminded to purchase a ticket early.
