Big names have been announced to headline this year's Jurassic Fields music festival.

Headlining the main stage at the Bridport festival this year are indie royalty Reverend and The Makers on Friday, dub step giant Gentleman’s Dub Club on Saturday with 2-tone royalty The Selector closing the show on Sunday.

The 'Big Top' headliners this year are festival favourites The Barefoot Bandit, The Eskies and Dutty Moonshine Big Band.

Jurassic Fields is also welcoming Show of Hands back for their last-ever festival performance as a band.

Festival director Jamie Isaacs said “We are really excited about the line-up this year. We have tried to invite artists that cover as many musical genres as possible.

"We’ve got big hitters and also some hidden gems that are definitely going to be ‘I saw them at my local festival’ moments in the future.

“We have also extended our programming this year with all stages running on all three days, which is a really exciting step for us.”

The festival will be at West Bay Fields on July 12, 13 and 14, (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

The 'Tiny Top' is also welcoming top international DJs each night including Shades of Rhythm, a Jack Said What takeover featuring Jon Carter, Steve Mac and Carl Loben, with social media sensations Girls Next Door taking over Sunday night with special guests Dragon Flo, DJ Cali and MC Enamie.

Last year the festival was hit with difficult weather conditions, but the directors and the Jurassic Fields team are excited about bringing the show back for 2024.

Festival director Dan Broom said: “Jurassic Fields started with the local community in mind. We have always wanted to bring the best musical acts to Bridport and put on a show that not only has a great line-up but is something the community can enjoy.”

Jamie added: “We have listened to the feedback about last year’s event and we believe we have made improvements so that everyone’s experience will be the best yet. We have more bars and a range of traders. We cannot wait to welcome you to the field this year.”
