A Dorset hospital issued an apology after they experienced issues with their phone lines.

The phone lines are now back up and running.

Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester faced ‘some technical issues’ with their hospital telephone system earlier today

They have apologised for the inconvenience and =urged patients in need of medical advice to contact NHS 111 as per usual.

A spokesperson for Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust previously said: “We are currently experiencing some technical issues with our hospital telephone system.

“Apologies if you are currently not able to get through. We are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible and will keep you updated. If you need medical advice please contact NHS 111 as usual.”
