A person injured in a three-vehicle crash yesterday evening was airlifted to hospital.
The crash involved two cars and one van on the A3066 near Crooked Oak Hill, Melplash at around 6.25pm yesterday.
One person was taken to the hospital via air ambulance for injuries that police say are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road between Crooked Oak Hill and Drury Lane was closed for several hours whilst police and ambulance dealt with the incident and carried out investigation work.
It was re-opened at around 1am today.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 6.25pm to a three-vehicle road traffic accident involving two cars and a van.
"One person was airlifted to hospital for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
"The road was closed for investigation work and was re-opened at 1.09am."
