Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious crash on the A3066 in west Dorset.
The incident near Crooked Oak Hill near Melplash was reported at 6.25pm on Saturday.
The road between Crooked Oak Hill and Drury Lane was closed. Police were urging motorists to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
It is understood that the route re-opened following investigation work shortly before 6am this morning.
