Living by the seaside is synonymous with tucking into fish and chips - and we're spoilt for choice here in west Dorset.
We asked you for your favourite chippies on National Fish and Chip Day.
The homage to one of the country's favourite dishes usually falls on the first Friday in June, however, this year it was moved to coincide with D-Day to recognise the importance of fish and chips during the war.
The votes are in - in time for Friday night's chippy tea.
S&E Fish 'n' Chips
A firm favourite with an overwhelming number of votes.
S&E on Forty Foot Way, West Bay, was described as 'fantastic' and 'simply the best'.

Longs Fish and Chips
Another reader favourite, award-winning Longs was mentioned by many of our readers. Luckily, we have two Longs chippies so there's plenty to go around! Visit them at King Street and West Street in Bridport.

Rachel's
Lots of love for Rachel's kiosk down at West Bay! The fish and chips have been described as 'delicious' by readers who've enjoyed them as a daytime treat down at the Bay.
