Bridport residents gathered to enjoy various events to celebrate the centenary of the town's church bells.
The eight bells in St Mary’s Church, Bridport, have been ringing for 100 years since they were fully recast in 1924.
To mark this milestone, various celebratory events took place in Bridport throughout the month of May.

One of the main events was an exhibition held at the church on Saturday, May 25 where visitors got a chance to ring the bells themselves, followed by a 3pm quarter peal by a Dorset Bell Ringing Team.
This was followed by a 7pm evening concert at the church with Bothenhampton hand bell ringers, the choir Local Vocals and the band Hat Trick.
As part of the celebrations, the church is reaching out to family members of those who were involved in restoring the bells to hear and record their stories. These will then be compiled in a special book to honour the their involvement.
Earlier in the month, church and tower exhibitions were held as part of the Bridport Community Charter Fair on Saturday, May 18 from 10am with the town crier visiting to mark the occasion.
On Wednesday, May 29, an East Dorset ringing team gathered at 12.30pm at the tower for a full peal - a ringing performance which lasted around 3 hours.
A brand-new bell ringing peal has also been created in honour of the special occasion, and formally named as Bridport Delight Major.
