A two vehicle crash was causing delays on a route near Beaminster.
There were reports of heavy traffic both ways due to a crash on the A356 at Benville Lane.
This crash is now reported to be cleared, and traffic has returned to normal.
Police and ambulance were in attendance.
Police say there have been no serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police: "At 4.34pm on Monday, June 3, we received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the B3163 between Beaminster and Crewkerne.
"Officers are currently in attendance with the ambulance service. No serious injuries have been reported."
