A cattle trailer has been taken in an overnight theft.
The trailer was stolen from the Halstock Leigh area overnight between Thursday, May, 23 and Friday, May 24.
A spokesperson for Bridport Police said: "There has been a theft of a cattle trailer from the Halstock Leigh area. This occurred overnight, between Thursday May, 23 and Friday 24.
"There have been a few trailers stolen across the Halstock area over the last few weeks. This is likely linked to similar thefts in the South Somerset area, across the border.
"Please revise your security. If you would like any crime prevention advice, please contact us.
"Also, please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity as above, or call 999 immediately if you believe a crime is in progress."
