POLICE patrols have been stepped up in Bridport for the half-term school holiday.
High visibility patrols have been continuing in the town while there are more people in the area during the holiday.
The increased police presence is part of Dorset Police's 100 Days of Summer initiative, which targets anti-social behaviour.
This summer, the neighbourhood policing team will build on the success of past campaigns by working with members of Dorset Council’s Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) to provide 100 days of highly visible uniformed foot patrol during the summer months.
A spokesman for Bridport Police said: "High visibility patrols continue this evening in Bridport.
"Many families and young teenagers were enjoying the half-term break in Bridport.
"There were no issues reported."
