The elderly community are invited to a special afternoon tea event to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Lyme Regis residents aged over 70 are invited to enjoy a free cream tea at the Woodmead Halls at 4pm on Sunday, June 9 to commemorate the 1944 D-Day landings.
A spread of sandwiches will be available followed by scones and cream served with tea or coffee.
The free event is organised by Lyme Regis Over 70s Christmas Lunch Fund and Lyme Regis Town Council.
Residents have to live in Lyme Regis to qualify for free tickets.
