A community in West Dorset are hosting a free family fun day for children.
The Shipton Gorge Family Fun Day will take place on Saturday, June 8 at the Village Hall, St Martin's Church and churchyard on Church Lane.
Taking place for children aged between three to 11 years old, the event will start at 10am and finish around 1.30pm.
Based on the song, All Things Bright and Beautiful, the day’s theme will be about exploring beauty in everything.
Activities will include collaging, decorating biscuits, making bird feeders, making seed bombs and more.
Free refreshments will be available and guests are invited to bring a picnic as the organisers are encouraging families to be eat in the churchyard at the end of the session, weather permitting.
All children attending the event must be accompanied by an adult.
