Temporary traffic lights cause delays on A35 at Higher Eype

Wessex Water has implemented temporary traffic lights on the A35 at Eype Down Road/Quarr Lane, which is reported to be causing delays for road users.

These traffic lights are for safe entry and exit following the closure of Higher Eype Road.

Wessex Water is installing a spline into the water main on Higher Eype Road. The alternative route for this closure is the A35.

Work started today, and is expected to be completed by May 24. The temporary traffic lights will be in place throughout these works.
