A west Dorset jazz, funk and soul club are celebrating their anniversary in style.
The Bridport jazz, funk and soul club are turning five in May and to celebrate they are throwing a huge party on Saturday, May 4, from 8.30pm-11.30pm at the Bridport Masonic Hall.
There will be a great mix of funky tracks from artists like James Brown and Stevie Wonder with DJ Dr Funk on the decks.
Music fans can also try their luck at the ‘Names on Numbers’ game with the chance to win a £50 prize and all proceeds will go towards the clubs end of year donation to Bridport Youth Clubs and Young Performers.
Tickets for the event are £10 per person, with a special deal of two for £10 for those under 21.
Non-members can purchase tickets at the Bridport Tourist Information Centre in person or via the phone: 01308424901.
There is also a free glass of Buck’s Fizz upon arrival (until it runs out).
