BRIDPORT have a clear objective in their final game of the season at Axminster Town this evening (7.30pm).
Chris Herbst’s men are currently second and know victory at Tiger Way will mean they can only be overtaken by Crediton, while also securing an FA Cup spot for the 2024/25 campaign.
They come into the match off the back of three victories in four South West Peninsula League Premier East fixtures.
Herbst said: “For me, it’s a must-win. There’s no point getting a draw because Crediton and Okehampton are still hot on our tails.

“There are things that can go against us. We need to win, go to Axminster and get a nitty-gritty win.
“I’m not too worried about the performance, I just want to win. That’s the gameplan.
“Obviously, Axminster need to win. Hopefully, with both teams going at it, it should be an exciting game to be involved in.”
Bridport have a full squad to pick from.
