A person became injured on a west Dorset beach and in need of medical attention.
Coastguard and ambulance services scrambled to Monmouth beach in Lyme Regis, shortly before 11.30am on Sunday, April 21 to help the person.
Crews from Lyme Regis Coastguard located the injured person at the pebble beach and left them in the care of South Western Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: “We were asked to assist South Western Ambulance with a report of someone needing medical assistance at Monmouth Beach. Lyme Regis Coastguard Rescue team was sent.”
