A person in the water off the coast of Dorset prompted a major emergency response including a helicopter.
Emergency services were called to the incident off Charmouth on Saturday, March 30 at around 8am.
Coastguard teams from West Bay and Lyme Regis attended, as well as the Lyme Regis RNLI Lifeboat and coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent.
The person was located and taken into the care of Dorset Police.
A spokesperson for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: "HM Coastguard responded to reports of a person in the water off Charmouth yesterday, March 30.
"Alerted at around 8am Coastguard Rescue Teams from West Bay and Lyme Regis, a lifeboat from Lyme Regis RNLI and the coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent were sent to the scene."
