A video has emerged showing the extent of flooding to a village in west Dorset.
The whole of the county has been on alert after Storm Nelson has brought heavy rain and strong winds followed by flooding to the area.
Christopher Griffiths-Hardman, a local to the village of Shipton Gorge near Bridport, has captured the moment that the River Bride burst its banks.
Water around a foot deep is seen flowing down Cuckoo Lane in the village.
Mr Griffiths-Hardman, said: "Cuckoo Lane is teeming with water. The roads in the village are passable but some of the houses at the bottom of the town get flooded.
"This is quite common, but especially difficult today," he added.
Further to this, a small landslip next to the road has toppled a national speed limit applies road sign at the entrance to the village.
The effects of Storm Nelson have also seen at Burton Bradstock, where the Texaco garage has had to close after flooding hit the inside of the shop.
Elsewhere, Cattistock have had to cancel their race day due to their ground being 'sodden.'
