A PETROL station in Dorchester is due to close next week for essential maintenance works.
The Tesco filling station off Weymouth Avenue in Dorchester will be closed from Monday, March 11 until Thursday, March 28 - almost three weeks.
It is due to reopen on Friday, March 29.
A sign displayed in the shop said the closure is due to "essential" maintenance repairs that are planned to take place.
"Apologies for any inconvenience caused during this time", the sign reads.
The petrol station is a popular site as it is just off the busy A35.
The next nearest place to refuel in the town is the Shell station on London Road, and the BP garage on The Grove.
Tesco has been approached for a comment.
