The A35 has been partially blocked due to flooding.
Heavy rainfall throughout Sunday has left water on the major road between Kingston Russell and Winterbourne Abbas.
The road has been partially blocked near the Maiden Newton turn off.
Drivers are advised to allow more time for their journeys or to seek alternative routes.
