The Weymouth to London Waterloo train service has been disrupted after a person was hit by a train.
Emergency services are responding to the incident which has taken place in Pokesdown, in Bournemouth.
Disruption is expected to last until 5pm, but investigations are ongoing and this may change.
Bus route X54 from Weymouth to Poole will be offering passengers replacement travel at no extra cost.
A spokesperson for South Western Railway said: "We have received reports that a person has been struck by a train at Pokesdown.
"Our response teams are working with the emergency services to assist with the incident.
"In order to allow emergency services access to the railway all power to the track will need to be switched off in the affected area."
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Pokesdown railway station at 11.40am today (February 13) to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended and one person was taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and the incident is not being treated as suspicious."
